Suspects Arrested Minutes After Onslow County Robbery

Three robbery suspects are caught mere minutes after lawmen say they robbed a gas station.

Lamenski Harris, Charles Lightsey and Rosa Brown are accused of robbing the Wilco-Hess convenience store at Maple Hurst Road and Highway 53 in Onslow County at around 4:00 a.m. Monday morning.

Onslow Deputy Larry Johnson Jr. was on the way to the scene when he saw a car run a stop sign and speed away. Johnson pulled over the car and confirmed that the three in the vehicle matched the description from the gas station clerk.

All three are charged with robbery with a firearm, possession of stolen property, and conspiracy to commit robbery.

Brown and Lightsey's bond is set at $100,000, Harris' bond is $125,000
