Some may wonder whether this story is about a smart phone stolen by some dumb crooks.
Cumberland County deputies say whoever stole the phone on July 28th have been taking pictures of themselves, which then automatically are sent to the owner's storage account.
The two are described as black men, approximately 18 to 22 years old, both with short hair. One of the men has a tattoo covering his right hand.
Deputies say the self-portraits started showing up shortly after the phone was stolen.
Anyone with information on the identity of the crooks should call the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office at (910) 323-1500.
