The sister of a woman shot and burned in Pitt County in 2009 testified Wednesday in the trial of Arthur Ridenour.
The older sister of Teresea Foster, Darlene Goehring, broke down on the stand when a prosecutor brought out personal evidence in the case. Goehring testified in court that Foster's fiancee, Ridenour, told the family the wedding would be postponed and that Foster needed to move out.
Goehring testified Foster was in the process of leaving the home they shared in Pitt County the day before she died.
The defense claims Foster was depressed and suicidal and had tried to killed her self in the past. Ridenour maintains he is innocent.
