Police: Greenville Laundromat Robbed

Greenville police are searching for at least two, possibly three, armed robbers who held up a business in broad daylight.

Law enforcement officers converged around 10:30 a.m. to the small complex on Greenville Boulevard near Luci Drive that houses Bowen Cleaners, a laundromat and a pizza shop.

Late Wednesday police released surveillance video and pictures of the robbers. The video shows two men came into the store, one armed with a semi-automatic handgun and the other carrying a backpack.

Police say the clerk ran out the back door as the two came in. It does not appear any money was taken in the hold-up.

Detectives believe the two got away in a mid-1990s blue Ford Explorer SUV. You can click on the image to view the surveillance photos.
