Roanoke Rapids Stabbing Suspect Arrested

A man lawmen believe stabbed a woman was arrested in his native state of Virginia. The Halifax County Sheriff's Office says 35-year-old Timothy Moran was apprehended without incident. Authorities are working to bring him back to North Carolina to face criminal charges.

Halifax County lawmen say Moran stabbed a woman in the Edge Water subdivision of Roanoke Rapids on Monday. He will face charges of assault with a deadly weapon intent to kill inflicting serious injury.

Lawmen say the victim's injuries when she went to the hospital are critical, but she has improved since then.

    Went to high school with that guy. With some you know it is just a matter of time before they pop off and do something serious.
