Reward Offered In Murder Of Greenville Apartment Manager

Police are hoping for new leads in the case of an apartment manager found dead in his office more than two months ago.

Greenville police say the family of 64-year-old Michael Burgwardt is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in his murder after he was found dead November 20th at Summer Place Apartments. He was shot several times.

No arrests have been made, but police say they interviewed neighbors, friends, and relatives.

Detectives are seeking help from any residents of Summer Place Apartments and the Peed Drive area who may know something about the crime.

Burgwardt was last seen alive November 19th about 8:30 pm.
