Police are asking for your help to track down a man they say is responsible for an armed robbery in the Duplin County town of Warsaw.

Police say Lamonta Wallace walked into the Dollar General around 9:18 p.m. January 20 and pointed a handgun in the face of the clerk, demanding money.

Officers say Wallace lives in the Warsaw area but also may be in the Fayetteville area. They describe him as a light-skinned black man, about 5'5" tall, weighing around 170 pounds and say he is armed and dangerous.

Police report Wallace is also wanted on warrants for drugs charges from another case.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Warsaw Police Department at (910)293-7816.
