Police Look For Persons Of Interest After Target Fire

Customers inside a Target Saturday afternoon had to be evacuated after a fire broke out in the store. Officials are calling the fire suspicious and are now looking for persons of interest.

It happened at the Target off of Raleigh Road Parkway in Wilson. Firefighters were called out to the store around 2 p.m. When they got there customers were being evacuated and employees had already extinguished the fire.

The fire was in a small area of the store near the greeting cards. There was minimal damage and a small amount of merchandise was burned. No injuries were reported.

Police are now looking for the persons of interest in the investigation. If you have any information on their whereabouts please contact police.

The store is expected to reopen Sunday for business.
