Goldsboro police say they arrested a homeless man for stealing copper from several places recently. Detectives also say he stole a surveillance camera.
Randy Parsons, 49, is facing several counts of breaking and entering for recent copper thefts, according to Goldsboro police. They list his address as "streets of Goldsboro."
A crime task force had put up a surveillance camera at the Borden Building on N. William Street last week. By Monday, it was gone. Task force members found the destroyed camera and recovered the photos from it. Detectives say that helped them develop Parsons as a suspect. He was arrested without incident. His bond was set at $14,000.
