The operator of an illegal club is facing charges after complaints of drug deals, illegal alcohol sales and loud music from neighbors.
Joshua Ganus, the operator of Cotton's in Beulaville, was arrested on several charges including selling alcohol without a permit and possessing and selling moonshine.
Some people at the club tried to run when Duplin County sheriff's deputies and ALE agents arrived.
Six others were cited or charged with drug, weapons and driving violations.
