Pamlico Co. Man Sentenced To 11+ Years In Prison For Cocaine Distribution

A Bayboro man has been sentenced to more than 11 years in prison after pleading guilty to distributing more than 700 grams of cocaine.

A Pamlico County Sheriffs Office investigation revealed Herman Midgette had been distributing the drugs since 2009. Confidential informants made cocaine purchases from Midgette of more than 100 grams of cocaine. The 41-year-old Bayboro resident will be under supervised release for five years following his prison sentence.
