A man says he was forced into his home at gunpoint where robbers made off with a 42-inch television, on foot.

Kinston police say they got a call Saturday night to Hines Street and Lenoir Avenue about people running down the street with a television. When they arrived at the home on Hines Street they learned the resident had been sitting in his vehicle in his front yard when he was approached by two men. One pointed a silver handgun at him and demanded money.

The victim says he was forced inside the home where the robbers took the TV, a video gaming system, two cell phones, his wallet and keys to his home and vehicle. They were last seen running down the street.

A witness says two men were seen leaving the area in a green 4-door Mitsubishi. So far no arrests have been made in the armed robbery.
