Police have arrested a man they say shot into a home with five people inside.
Justin Edge of Greenville was nabbed around 3:00 a.m. Friday by the Greenville Police Department Tactical Anti-Crime Unit on Westhills Drive.
Police say late Wednesday night Edge fired shots at a home on West 6th Street, and a parked car in front of the house had several bullet holes in it. Officers say the 27-year-old Edge had a prior relationship with one of the victims.
Due to the violent nature of the crime, officers had their TAC Unit, negotiators and patrol officers sent to the Westhills Drive address to captured Edge.
Edge is charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, discharge a firearm into an occupied dwelling, probation violation, possession with intent to sell cocaine, simple possession of marijuana, along with possession of drug paraphernalia.
He is being held on a $155,000 bond.
