Operation Jingle Bail is underway in Eastern Carolina, targeting drug dealers in our area.

The Edgecombe County sheriff's Office Narcotics Task Force is running the undercover operation, which is several months in the making and directly targets those who sell drugs.

Last week alone, 22 people were arrested, to the tune of 122 felony charges.

More arrests are expected through the new year.
