The Onsow County Sheriff's Office has released a few new details in the shooting of a man Saturday night.
Officials say the 22-year-old man was shot in the back and airlifted to Wilmington. He's said to be in stable condition.
Investigators are said to have been at New Hanover Regional Medical Center interviewing the victim.

In an e-mail sent out, officials with the sheriff's office say that the shooting happened around 10 p.m.
Details were few but officials say the shooting appears to be an isolated incident and that there doesn't seem to any cause for concern.
