POLICE: Arrest Clears Up String Of Greenville Break-ins

Nine break-ins in one neighborhood have been solved with the arrest of one man, according to police.

Greg Lancaster of Greenville has been charged with nine counts of felony breaking and entering.

Greenville police say the 21-year-old broke into nine homes in and around the Santree Mobile Home Park where he stole electronics, jewelry and money. The break-ins happened between August 2nd and September 13th.

In one break-in, a stove and refrigerator were taken.

Police say in most cases, the rear doors were pried open while the victims were at work.

Lancaster, who has prior arrests for drugs, burglary and larceny, is jailed on a $351,500 secured bond.
