Police are investigating break-ins at two local businesses early this morning, and they believe the two are connected.
New Bern police say thieves broke into but Tom's Coins and Antiques on Middle Street just before 1:00 a.m. this morning, but stole nothing. An hour later, detectives think the same duo broke into Realo Discount Drugs in Bridgeton; they're still working on that crime scene.
We don't have a description of the suspects yet, only that they were in a pick-up truck.
