New Bern High School Student Charged With Exposing Himself To Student On School Grounds

A 16-year-old New Bern High School student is charged with exposing himself to another student on school grounds.

Police say Trevonte' Koonce was arrested September 27th with 2 misdemeanor counts of sexual battery and indecent exposure. He was released on a $500 bond.

Craven County schools released a statement saying: "We take the safety of all of our students very seriously. We are following the policies of Craven County Schools and are cooperating fully with law enforcement."

Koonce's next court appearance is set for October 19th.
