Police in the east need your help tracking down a woman they say used fake money to make a purchase at a local restaurant.
Security cameras at the Jersey Mike's in Nags Head captured a woman using a fake $100 bill.
Employees thought the money was fake after noticing the bill's borders was misaligned compared to other bills.
Police say the money was printed on actual currency paper, but believe the woman somehow erased the original value of the bill to print the $100.
Anyone who can identify the woman is asked to call Nags Head Police at 252-441-6386.
