Murder Suspect's Mom Indicted

The mother of one of two teens charged with killing a Kinston man this summer has found herself behind bars.

A Lenoir County grand jury has indicted Tracy Lee with accessory after the fact to murder. The 36-year-old woman is the mother of Kion Dail, who was charged with the June 2nd murder of Thomas Hinton.

Dail is also charged with the murder of Deputy Warren "Sneak" Lewis. The Nash County deputy was gunned down while trying to make an arrest in Hinton's murder.

Lee was arrested today by Kinston police and jailed on a $1,000,000 bond.

I do agree with your statement but if we as parents do not set a good example for our children, then we also have to pay the price as well. She was not a good example for her child as we see. I will say this I thank GOD for my parents for my morals and respect that I was taught. If that were me and my parents knew about it, police would not have to come get me, they would take me and turn me in, themselves. Not to mention I wuold be bruised from head to toe from the beating they gave me before I got there.

Yep, I was more scared of my parents than the school system and the school used that paddle with holes in it, back then. Now, the children can do no wrong, I always here the parents taking the childs side no matter what. Parents take responsibilty for your youngens, don't let the street or jails raise them. You won't like the results, I can guarentee that.

Tracy Lee was always like that she went to school in Green County and that's were I know her from. I didn't think that she was all that stupid. She don't have any of her kids so I guess it don't matter wether you is locked up or not. You should be ashame Tracy!!!

Read the local newspaper. Isn't it ironic that she used food stamps to buy the food to feed this murderer while he was hiding out? Read the Bible. "What you sow, so shall you reap." We are reaping the results of government give-away programs.

Her son deserves whatever he gets, but you have to feel for him that this is all he knows... is crime. He was raised not to care about society. It takes a strong minded person to break the cycle. I pray for him and his mother. I pray for the families of the loved ones that were victimized. Precious Lord, please tend to the hurting hearts and some how use all this for your glory. Amen.

I do not think she would have been indicted if a officer was not killed. Maybe some of you do not understand a mother's love for her children. I can not say what I would have done. I just hope that all I have taught my child, I will never have to go though this. People we need to stop blaming all parents when a child goes bad. We have doctors, lawyer, police officer, and other professional that child turn to crime. Just last week I think a Pitt County Deputy son sold his gun and the mothers. I do not believe they were bad parents. Children make decision that have nothing to do with their parents. This article does not state what crimes the mother has committed in the past.
