Morehead City Police Search For Burglary Suspects

Police in Morehead City are looking to the public for help in a string of burglaries involving seasonal homes.

Saturday morning Morehead City Police responded to Evans Road where three seasonal homes were broken into and had a total of $3,000 to $5,000 worth of televisions stolen.

While searching the scene police found a receipt for an l.e.d. flashlight from Walgreen's and an L&M cigarette butt. They traced the receipt back to Walgreen's and got surveillance video showing two males buying the flashlight and the pack of L&M cigarettes.

Police are also looking for a third person on the video who may know these individuals.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact their department or the Morehead City Crime Stoppers.
