A registered sex offender the Nash County Sheriff's office has been searching for since March was found Wednesday at a homeless shelter in Charlotte.
The U.S. Marshals Service arrested the man, Alfonza Williams, using outstanding warrants from Nash County. He is a lifetime registered sex offender, according to Nash County Sheriff's office.
Williams is accused of indecent liberties with a child and first-degree sexual offense with a child.
He is being held in the Mecklenburg County jail under a $102,000 bond.
