Maryland Home Invasion Suspect Arrested In Eastern Carolina

A Maryland man suspected in two home invasions and a sexual assault has been arrested in Eastern Carolina.

Montgomery County police say 33-year-old Kevin Ray of Fort Washington was arrested Saturday in Kitty Hawk, N.C. Detectives say they obtained a photograph of Ray when he used a credit card stolen from one of the victims.

Police say the suspect robbed a woman Tuesday in her garage in Wheaton. He approached with a handgun and demanded money, a wallet and car keys before fleeing in the victim's vehicle.

On Wednesday, police were called to a Bethesda home where two residents were tied up by an intruder and a housekeeper was sexually assaulted.

An arrest warrant for Ray includes charges of robbery and first degree sex assault.

O K now! He has been caught. Let us just sit still for oh maybe a month or two. I am certain after all my time in NC that; the "HONORABLE" Mr. Pansey Pants in Long Black Flowing Robe will certainly hand down a punishment that is fitting of this dork's crimes. I really am sure the punishment WILL fit the crime. Aren't you?

This story is obviously completely fabricated and made-up. In MD, you MUST have a Maryland License to Carry a Firearm to transport or carry a firearm AT ALL, and this fellow doesn't sound like he could pass the "white, wealthy, and well-connected" requirement that MD has for issuing permits. Also, Montgomery County has a law against "public display of a firearm" that prohibits Open Carry or showing a firearm in ANY WAY in public. Since MD's super-strict gun laws are some of the most comprehensive in the nation, and everyone knows that laws like this work all the time, there is simply NO WAY these events happened as reported... Please, WITN, when will you stop publishing these obvuiosly false, made-up "news" reports?

If your post is not a joke, you need some serious psychological counseling. Since when do criminals care about laws, no matter what state they're in?

Justice: If your post is true and stipulated by law - wonder why they have drugs that are illegal in Maryland - reckon the person couldn't buy a gun off of the street? Wonder why the 'drug smugglers on the water or the interstate all have guns? Glad they caught up with this person anyway.
