A man is dead, and police are asking for your help.
Sunday, Rocky Mount police responded to an injured person call on Highway 48 near the Kangaroo Express in the Goldrock area of Rocky Mount.
They found the body 55-year-old Edward Whitaker Jr. Whitaker had head trauma and was transported to the hospital in Greenville for an autopsy.
Police report a silver, gold or tan truck, possibly a Toyota, may have been involved.
