Man Wanted In Club Shooting Arrested In Wilson

A federal task force has arrested a man in Wilson who was wanted for a killing outside of a Fayetteville club.

Deputy U.S. Marshal Brandon Taylor told The Fayetteville Observer that 28-year-old Michael Murphy surrendered around 12:15 a.m. Saturday after 20 officers surrounded a home in Wilson.

Taylor is charged with second-degree murder. Authorities say he shot 32-year-old Randolph Richardson twice outside a Fayetteville club Wednesday night.

Officers planned to bring Murphy to the Cumberland County jail. It wasn't immediately clear if he had an attorney.

So let me get this straight... People who are accused bo being drug dealers in affidavits sworn out by crack head informants get issued "no knock warrants", and then get shot because they picked up a gun when unidentified people with masks kick in their door, but here we have a standoff, and this thug who people WITNESSED hooting someone in public gets a "polite arrest"? What's up with that?
