Man Wanted For Sex Offense Against A Child

The Jones County Sheriff's Office is asking for your help to find a man wanted for a sex offense against a teenager.

Investigators say 26-year-old Melvin Ward is wanted for statutory sex offense against a person 13,14, or 15-years-old by a defendant who is at least 6 years older than the Victim. Additional charges are pending.

Ward is described as 6'02, 185 pounds.
