Man Wanted For Attempted Murder

Police in one Eastern Carolina city are searching for a man after a shooting this afternoon.

Goldsboro police say they have warrants out for Edquan Battle, charging him with attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, and shooting into an occupied vehicle.

Police say the shooting happened around 1:15 p.m. in the 1100 block of Olivia Lane as multiple shots were fired into a vehicle. Andreana Faison was treated and released by Wayne County EMS.

The 24-year-old Battle, who is also known as "Fat Man", is described as 5'11", 160 pounds. Anyone with information about the location of Battle should call Goldsboro police at 919-580-4243 or Crime Stoppers at 919-735-2255.
