A man is in critical condition after police say he was wounded in a Christmas night shooting.

Warsaw police say Derrick Highsmith was shot at his home last night on West Best Street between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m.

Chief Mike Webster says they're looking for Eric Hall, who is also known as "Go-Go", as a person of interest in this case. The chief says Highsmith and another person got into a disagreement and it escalated into the shooting.

Highsmith is in critical, but stable condition at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington after being shot in the chest.

Webster says they are looking for Hall for questioning in the shooting as well as for outstanding warrants. If you know his whereabouts, you should call Warsaw police at 910-293-7816.
