Onslow County Sheriff's Office Says Man Killed Brother With Knife

The Onslow County Sheriff's Office says a Jacksonville man is now in jail after murdering his brother with a knife.

48-year-old Bobby Joyner is charged with the murder of his younger brother, 41-year-old Keith Joyner.

Deputies responded to a call at a home on Rocky Run Rd. early Saturday. That's where deputies say they found Keith Joyner injured after he was stabbed in the abdomen and had a laceration in the chest area under the arm. He was transported to the hospital where he died around 7:15 a.m. Saturday.

Bobby Joyner is being held in the Onslow County Jail without bond. He is scheduled for a first appearance in Onslow County District Court Monday, December 5, 2011.

Deputies say both men lived at the home on Rocky Run Rd.

No word yet on why Bobby Joyner stabbed his brother.
