A Jacksonville man is facing charges after police say he was in a park with a shotgun Tuesday.
Officers were called to the 800 block of River Street about 12:40 p.m.
They say 20-year-old Kendrick Powdrill had left his home carrying the gun. Police report he walked through Mill Creek Green park with the weapon. He was taken into custody without incident.
Powdrill was charged with being armed to the terror of the public and possession of a firearm in a city park.
