Teen Charged With Assault With A Deadly Weapon In Duplin County Paintball Shooting

A drive by shooting with a paintball gun leaves a woman bruised and two young men facing charges.

Beulaville police in Duplin County say around 3:00 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, Charlene Williams was walking on North Jackson street when police say 17-year-old Scott Sullivan from Wilmington shot her with a paintball gun.

Police say Sullivan and his passenger sped off towards Lenoir County where deputies later caught up with them .

Sullivan is charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
