A Goldsboro man is facing drug charges.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office reports 34-year-old Faronta Thompson of Brazil Street was arrested Saturday.
Lawmen say the arrest came as a result of a drug investigation into a high crime area. They report Thompson was in possession of seven grams of crack cocaine packaged to sell and some marijuana.
Thompson was locked up under a $30,000 secured bond.
