A suspect is now under arrest after authorities responded to a shots fired call in the middle of the day Tuesday.
The call came in just after 1:00 p.m. of shots fired in the area of Walt Bellamy Drive in New Bern. Police arrested 28-year-old Charles Barrow and charged him with discharging a firearm in the city limits. Barrow was released on a written promise to appear in court December 20th.
No injuries were reported during this incident.
