Pitt County Detention Center: Man Charged With Child Sex Offenses
We're gathering details on a man locked up in the Pitt County Detention Center, charged with sex offenses involving a child.
The Pitt County Detention Center website lists 20-year-old Danny Aquirre charged with felony first degree sex offense with a child, indecent liberties with a child and first degree sex offense.
Jail officials we spoke with say the charges reflect the victim being between 4 and 6 years younger than Aquirre.
He was arrested by the Pitt County Sheriff's Office on Saturday.
Aquirre has a 1 million dollar bond.
