Man Charged With Sex Crimes Involving 6-Year-Old Girl

A Tarboro man is accused of sexually assaulting a young child.

Edgecombe County deputies say Troy Edmondson has been charged with first degree sex offense with a child and indecent liberties with a child. They say the victim was a six year old girl.

The 44-year-old Edmondson was jailed on a $10,000 bond.
