"Last Call" For Goldsboro Strip Club

A Goldsboro strip club can't serve alcohol because authorities say there's a violent history at the business.

The Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission on Thursday suspended permits for Teaser's on Highway 117 South. That suspension is effective immediately.

Authorities say the latest violence at the business happened Sunday morning when one customer was shot and three others pistol whipped. Lawmen say the business has become increasingly dangerous, prompting them to seek a "Last Call" suspension against the business.

Teaser's is the 13th business to get its permits suspended since "Last Call" was initiated by the ABC Commission in October 2009.

The suspension order lists six cases since May where police were called to the nightclub in which customers were either shot, stabbed, or where large-scale fights were taking place.

Teaser's has had ABC permits since 1994 and cannot serve alcohol until a judge reviews the case at a hearing in the Office of Administrative Hearings.
