A Kinston man is recovering in a Greenville hospital, after being shot a second time in just five weeks.
Police said they discovered 20-year-old Keith Williams was shot in the 400 block of Stadiem Drive around 11:45 p.m. Sunday. He was wounded in the back and the wrist.
Officer Fred Darden said Williams was conscious when he was at the ER, and was later taken to Vidant Medical Center with serious injuries.
Last month, Williams was shot on Fields Street. An arrest was made in that July 3rd shooting.
Police say in the latest shooting, Williams was fixing the chain on his bicycle when he was hit. Monday afternoon the man was listed in stable condition at Vidant.
