A Kinston man is facing charges for setting two fires on the same day. Lamar Brown, 21, is facing two counts of First Degree Arson. He's accused of starting fires intentionally at 1025 East Caswell St. and 1015 East King St. on July 26, 2012. No one was injured in the fires.

Police say they recovered evidence from the scene that led to Brown's arrest, in addition to information from witnesses.

Brown was charged Friday, and police say he was already behind bars in Pamlico County for breaking and entering charges. Brown's bond was set at $250,000 ahead of his first appearance on the arson charges in Lenoir County on Tuesday.
