The Jones County Sheriff's Department has had three meth lab busts just this month alone.

Thursday deputies headed down Richlands Road to serve a failure to appear warrant on Jeffrey Wiggins when they found a meth lab in a shed behind his family's home. Investigators say Wiggins was cooking meth.

August 14th it was the same kind of story, but a different suspect. Deputies say they were checking on Mark Smith and had a warrant to look for stolen property when they found the remnants of a meth lab in a couple plastic bags under some tree limbs.

August 1st deputies had a warrant for Michael Hogan for not paying child support. In Hogan's mother-in-law's back yard they found an active meth lab in this shed.

"Watch what's going on with you because as I found out it can be right in your backyard and you never even know it because that's exactly what happened to me," said Phyllis Stewart.

The Jones County Sheriff Danny Heath says these meth busts and these arrests are all part of his zero tolerance policy here.

Hogan is being held on a $500,000 bond.

Smith is out of jail after he posted a $150,000 bond.

Wiggins bond is set at $300,000.
