A local 16-year-old is facing some very adult charges related to child sex offense.
The Jacksonville Daily News reports Onslow County deputies charged Dominic Larsen with two counts each of first degree sex offense with a child and indecent liberties with a child.
The paper reports the victim was under the age of 13 at the time the crimes were committed.
Larsen was released from jail after posting a $50,000 bail with instructions to not be in contact with the victim or other young children, according to reports.
The teen is scheduled to appear in an Onslow County courtroom on Thursday.
