Inmate Found With Drugs Checking Into Jail

A jail inmate is in even more trouble after they discovered he had drugs with him.

Santez Keys of Washington is charged with possession of a controlled substance in a prison/jail premises and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Beaufort County deputies say the 28-year-old Keys had gone to jail to start serving time for a prior conviction when detention officers say they found baggies of marijuana concealed in the waistband of boxer shorts he was wearing. Match strikers were also found.

Keys was taken before a magistrate who set a secured bond of $15,000.

Just one more genius off the streets. May be we should just keep him in jail forever that way when he gets out next week we will not have to go through all this again. And you know he will be back it is only a matter of time.

It's marijuana, who really and honestly cares? Would he have been in more trouble if he had shown up with a Pepsi?

Jail isn't a deterrent, prison isn't a deterrent, but one thing for sure ends a life of crime.

Why don't people see this? We need to bring back "Old School" prisons and REAL punishment. A prisoner shouldn't have HALF the rights they do.

Attorneys don't make interperations to the Constitution. That's the job of the Supreme Court.

Yes we should bring back life sentences for possession of marijuana as well as prohibit all forms of alcohol. People say "Well you can abuse marijuana". Well heck you can abuse cheeseburgers too. Ya know, you don't go around closing Burger King because you can abuse something. I can take a fork and jam it in my eyeball. Does that mean forks should be illegal? Ya know, I could jump off a bridge, should we outlaw bridges? Lets Nerf the world!
