Home Repair Contractor Charged With Stealing From Customers' Homes

A Greenville contractor has been arrested and charged with robbing his customers of thousands of dollars in cash and jewelry.

Greenville police believe John Wade stole items and cash totaling more than $18,000 while he was left alone in the victims home to do home improvement contract work.

The 39-year-old is charged with one count of felony larceny.
Detectives say Wade was working as a contractor for Wade Enhancements when the larceny took place. The Greenville man has been arrested previously for possession of cocaine, worthless checks, and driving while license revoked.

He was jailed and released on a $25,000 unsecured bond.
