Havelock Man Charged With Attempted Robbery Linked To Car Break-Ins

A man arrested for a recent attempted armed robbery has now been linked by Havelock police to several vehicle break-ins.

20-year-old William Pugh of Havelock was arrested by police for an armed robbery July 6th in the area of Cedar Ridge Lane. During the investigation of the attempted armed robbery, investigators were able to develop information linking Pugh to a series of car break-ins back on May 31st in the Poplar Street, Fox Hall Road, and Pineview Street areas.

Pugh is charged with 4 counts of felony breaking and entering of a motor vehicle and 4 counts of misdemeanor larceny after breaking and entering. He's in the Craven County detention center under a $25,000 bond.
