Halifax Man Charged With Stealing Nearly 50 Samurai Swords

A Halifax man is behind bars Wednesday morning after he was arrested for attempting to sell almost 50 stolen samurai swords, according to the Roanoke Rapids Daily.

The paper says, twenty-year-old Anthony Childers was arrested after police found out he was trying to sell the samurai swords at local businesses that had been reported stolen in late January.

Childers is facing several charges including burglary. Records show he is still behind bars Wednesday morning in the Halifax County Jail.
