Suspected Drug Dealer Arrested In Halifax County

A Halifax County deputy discovered over 15 grams of marijuana during a traffic violation stop.

The deputy stopped Kendell Taylor, 30, on Highway 301 outside of Enfield around 1:00 a.m. Wednesday. After investigating, the law enforcement official found 22 pink bags and another plastic bag of marijuana.

Taylor was arrested and is facing charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was given a $5,500 bond and an August 24 court date.

    It's discracefull that this man faces any charges at all. Aside from the baggies this is a very small amount of weed. Sooner or later weed will be legal in america and maybe those that overzealously prosecuted minor weed offences will be prosecuted. BTW I am white and think race has nothing to do with this it is a human rights issue.

    Wow....1/2 ounce..Thats nothing. Seen people smoke that much in a weekend. Why is this worth being on WITN...Wow. What is this world coming to?? Out of all the stories this is whats important to people sad. Worry about why our country is in debt. Geesh! Grow up america.

      I dont think it was the 1/2 oz as much as it was the 30 small baggies ready to distribute to young kids or who ever would bye them. Thats how people get hooked on it, starting with the small amounts. I guess you think its OK to sll a small amount!!

    1/2 an ounce? WOW, this guy is big time. Sounds to me that he is more of a smoker than a seller. This guy was probably trying to get home to the Fruity Pebbles and Doritos.
