For the second week in a row stray bullets tear through a neighborhood in Ayden and residents there are worried about their safety.
Tuesday night gunfire erupted in the Lee Street area. It's the same area where stray bullets damaged two cars last Wednesday.
Police Chief Barry Stanley said there were no injuries or property damage in this latest incident, but they are trying to determine if this is related to the previous shooting.
Stanley says he plans on increasing patrols in the area until the problem is solved.
So far there are no suspects.
