Greenville Woman Charged With Attempted Murder

An investigation is underway after Greenville police arrested a woman for attempted first degree murder.

At this point little details are being released, but according to online reports Shaquia Powell was arrested Friday.

She is in the Pitt County Detention Center under no bond.

    Don't make assumptions. If you read the Daily Reflector, you can see she tried to drown a young child.

    she's probably a victim of domestic violence that took matters into her own hands...i could be wrong and hopefully I am but this is usually the out come when a victim doesn't receive help.
