Lawmen in Martin County say no arrests have yet been made in the death of a Greenville man Tuesday.

Robersonville police say Michael Nichols died from multiple stab wounds after they say he came into a home on West Greene Street around 1:00 a.m. Captain Phillip Lee says the two people inside the home and Nichols had a confrontation.

Lee says the homeowner, Angela Staton, was the victim's former girlfriend and that both she and her current boyfriend, Jemell Phillips, have been questioned.

Nichols died later at Martin General Hospital.
