Greenville Man Arrested For Child Sex Crimes

A 58-year-old man is behind bars this morning, charged with sex crimes against a 14 year old girl.

Officials at the Pitt County jail told me the Pitt County Sheriff's Office arrested Jessie Ray Floyd of Greenville. Floyd faces two counts of taking indecent liberties with a child, and one count of statutory rape-sex offense against a 14 year old girl.

Floyd was booked under a $1 million bond and is scheduled for a first court appearance Tuesday morning.
