Greenville Man Charged With Sexual Offense

A Pitt County man is jailed on a $203,500 bond after his arrest on sexual assault charges.

Deputies arrested Terry Best of Bells Fork Road Wednesday and say the man tried to flee from them.

They say the sexual assault happened back in September. He's charged with 2nd degree sexual assault, flee to elude arrest and resist a public officer.
